Role Description:
NeuroPraxis is seeking an Occupational Therapist (Independent Contractor) to provide telehealth and/or in-person occupational therapy services in Santa Maria, San Jose, San Luis Obispo, Santa Barbara, Sacramento, and Stockton areas. This role involves delivering home- and community-based therapy services to individuals with brain and spinal cord injuries. The Occupational Therapist will conduct evaluations, develop and implement treatment plans, and collaborate with NeuroPraxis’ interdisciplinary team to deliver goal-oriented, client-centered rehabilitation services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform in-person occupational therapy evaluations and re-evaluations
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Provide therapy services in home and community settings
- Document services and progress in accordance with company and regulatory requirements
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary care team to support client goals
- Communicate effectively with clients, families, and care partners in Spanish and English
Qualifications
- Current California Occupational Therapist license in good standing
- Spanish-speaking is preferred but not required
- Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy
- Experience working with individuals with brain injury and/or spinal cord injury
- Ability to work independently as an independent contractor
- Experience in home-based or community-based therapy preferred
- Strong clinical reasoning, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Pediatric experience is a plus, but not required

Role Description:
The Speech Therapist (Independent Contractor) will provide teletherapy services to individuals with brain and spinal cord injuries, focusing on speech, communication, language, and swallowing disorders. Day-to-day tasks include conducting assessments, developing and implementing individualized treatment plans, monitoring progress, and collaborating with interdisciplinary team members to enhance patient outcomes.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active California SLP license in good standing
- ASHA certification (CCC-SLP)
- Expertise in speech therapy evaluation and treatment
- Strong knowledge of speech, communication, and language disorders
- Experience treating dysphagia and swallowing disorders
- Experience working with neurological populations (TBI, SCI, stroke, or related conditions)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with an interdisciplinary team
- Experience in home-based or community-based care is a plus
- Spanish-speaking is a plus

This is a full-time remote role for a Regional Business Development Manager in Northern and Central California. Qualifications:

- Clinical background (RN, OT, PT, ST, CM) a plus but not required.

The Client Engagement Specialist (Full-time) provides coordination, communication, and administrative support to the Clinical Case Management team to ensure seamless service delivery for clients participating in NeuroPraxis rehabilitation programs. This role acts as a liaison between clients, families, case managers, and providers, supporting care coordination, client engagement, and documentation processes while helping maintain high standards of service quality, compliance, and client-centered care.
Qualifications:
Education:
• Bachelor’s degree in healthcare, social work, psychology, counseling, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
Experience:
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in case management, care coordination, or social services
• Experience working with individuals with brain injury or neurological conditions preferred
Licenses/Certifications:
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation may be required for community-based coordination.
Skills/Competencies:
• Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills when working with diverse populations.
• High level of empathy, professionalism, and emotional intelligence.
